Newsletter 5th March 2024

Dear parents and carers,

I hope this letter finds you all well. Thank you to all of you who have managed to join us at our recent events. It is lovely to have your support and to have the opportunity to catch up with you all. Easter will soon be arriving so I wanted to update you on Easter plans and other themed events. Please keep a copy of this letter on your fridge!

Welcome to the team…

I would like to say a warm welcome to Mrs Bedford who joins us in Reception as a teaching assistant based in Miss Perry’s class. Congratulations on your appointment and welcome to our wonderful school,  we hope you enjoy your time with us.

Mother’s Day

Firstly I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a lovely Mother’s Day. Miss  Perry’s class will be leading our Mother’s Day class assembly on Friday 8th March at 9am, Elephant’s parents welcome.

Straight after at 9.30am the CRC have organised a Mother’s Day brunch (see their facebook page for more details) There will also be a Mother’s Day shop where your child can come along and buy a gift for their loved one. These are £2/3 each.  Tickets are on sale for the Easter raffle where there are lots of chocolatey gifts up for grabs! Please see a member of the CRC for a ticket, the raffle will be drawn WB 18th March.

Help… the bunnies have escaped!

Over the Easter break we will once again be organising our annual bunny hunt for children in our local shops/places of interest. We hope this will provide a day of free activity for your child and an opportunity to win a super prize alongside giving you some places to visit and supporting local businesses. The hunt sheets will be sent home this week and will need to be returned by the last day of term Friday 22nd March. All correct sheets will make it into our prize draw.  Good luck bunny hunters!
