**Please note photographs are permitted at family events such as nativities, however we ask all parents to respect the wishes of others and ensure these photos are for their own personal use and are not posted on social media.**

Santa visits Common Road – Santa will be attending all the children’s Christmas parties this year and hopefully…if they’ve been good, bringing each child a small gift from the school. Once again this year you will be able to purchase a photograph of your child with Santa (these would make a perfect Christmas gift!) If you would like to order a photograph of your child and our special visitor together please complete the form attached to the newsletter and enclose £2.00 per photograph.

I would like to thank author Hilary Robinson, children’s author and Glen at the South Kirkby co-op for their generous gift donations for our children.

Nativity baubles – After their nativity performance next week the children will bring home a small bauble labelled with the name of their nativity for their memory box or to hang on the family Christmas tree. We hope you will cherish these and save them for your child for when they grow up!

Christmas post box – Our Christmas post box will open on Monday. Please can you write the name of the child and their class on the front. The school parliament will give these out daily so please help them by making who they are for clear.

Reminder: There will be no after-school clubs on the last week of term or the first week back after the break.

I, on behalf of all the staff at Common Road Infant and Nursery School, wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs D Edwards
