Newsletter 31st October 2022

Dear parents and carers,

Welcome back everyone!

Thank you to everyone who had a go at making a Halloween hat for our school fun-draiser. We had some super entries and Mr Thomas found it tricky to choose the winners. Congratulations to Ava-Grace, Jorgie, Ronnie, Lola, Eva, Ernie, Ebony, Franco, Scarlett, Tristan, Layla-Mae and Lisa. Thank you to the CRC for providing all the children with their take home Halloween treats.

Keeping with the festive theme on Friday afternoon we will be running our bonfire night family fun workshop where parents are invited to come into school and make a chocolate apple ready for bonfire night on Saturday. Please do not worry if you can’t make the session all children will have the opportunity to make a chocolate apple to take home. Thank you to the CRC for organising this event.
The sessions will be as follows:

Reception – 1.30pm | Year 1 – 2.00pm | Year 2 – 2.30pm

Please come to the main school office. There will be donation boxes on the table if you would like to make a small donation to school to cover costs for the activity.

I would like to say a big thank you to all the Common Road Champions for all of their hard work and commitment. They give up many hours of their own time planning, making and organising events for our children and families to enjoy whilst raising money for our school.
